Math, Reading and English Programs

Supplemental Education Services (SES) is a government program that Provides FREE tutoring for your child! Orion’s Mind is an Illinois SES provider. If your student qualifies, your child can receive FREE tutoring from Orion’s Mind!

Orion’s Mind program details:

What:

• Hands-on, team-based, after-school tutoring program
• 8:1 average student to teacher ratio

Content:

• Math & Reading (Kindergarten – 8th grade)
• English as a Second Language (ESL)

All programs teach teamwork, creativity, writing, and interpersonal skills.

Where:

• At the school

When:

• Before, during, or after-school
• 1-2 hour sessions

We also offer summer, weekend, and holiday programs.

How much:

• FREE to eligible parents and students

How to sign up:

  1) Ask your school for the “SES Registration Form”
  2) Complete the form and submit it to the main office at your child’s school
  3) Orion’s Mind will contact you with more information

Note: At least six students per school are required for this program.

Teacher Enrichment Series

We develop and deliver interactive training programs for teachers on topics such as:

Educate your staff on effective and engaging ways to teach state standards, integrating all learning styles and the arts.

This program is a total of six hours of training, can be conducted at your school, and enables your teachers to earn three CEU credits.

We can also work together to develop training on specific topics upon request.

Foreign Language Programs

Students have a higher capacity to learn a foreign language while they are young.

Research has shown the extensive benefits of learning a second language, including an impact on students’ oral and reading abilities in their first language. Please ask us how we can offer foreign language programs at your school.
