Orion’s Mind uses a three-pronged approach to teach students.

1) School Day: Detailed Information for Teachers

Orion’s Mind provides teachers with detailed information about students understanding of math and reading benchmarks.

Teachers can use this information to organize math and reading groups, identify students who need extra help on specific concepts, and maximize instruction time by focusing on the areas that need the most attention.

2) Tutoring: Specialized Groups

Orion’s Mind places students into groups based on the specific skills they need to learn. Then students receive small group tutoring on the topics with which they need the most assistance using our proprietary curriculum.

3) At Home: One-on-One Practice

Orion’s Mind uses Scantron Performance SeriesSM to produce individualized study guides and worksheets. These tools cover specific benchmarks based on the questions students missed on their assessment tests. These easy-to-follow packets help parents work one-on-one with their child at home and reinforce what they learned at school and at tutoring.

Get books! For every worksheet packet completed, students are rewarded with a popular book of their choice, such as Lemony Snicket, Goosebumps, Roald Dahl, Junie B. Jones, Beverly Cleary, and Magic Tree House! Students love earning books! Plus the excitement of having a book as a reward increases students’ interest in reading!
